Prime Minister Chung Sye-kyun's assets remained almost the same as the previous year at 4.4 billion KRW.
According to the "Regular Asset Change Report" disclosed on the 25th through the official gazette by the Government Ethics Committee for Public Officials, the person with the most assets among the Prime Minister and Cabinet members is Minister Choi, who owns 11.93166 billion KRW. The increase in his assets over the past year also reached 370.13 million KRW.
Following Minister Choi are Prime Minister Chung with 4.4934 billion KRW and Minister Jeon Hae-cheol of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety with 3.96875 billion KRW. Prime Minister Chung's assets decreased by 18.8 million KRW over the past year, while Minister Jeon’s increased by 76.78 million KRW.
The person who increased their assets the most over the past year is Minister Seo Wook of the Ministry of National Defense. Of his total assets of 804.88 million KRW, 447.27 million KRW, which is 55%, increased during the past year. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance Hong Nam-ki increased by 402.81 million KRW, and Minister Choi increased by 370.13 million KRW, following him.
