Geumcheon-gu Signs Job Creation MOU with Nambu Technical Training Center on 23rd... Supporting Development and Employment Connection of Skilled Professionals with National Technical Qualifications
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) signed a business agreement with Nambu Technical Training Institute (Director Yang Il-woong) at 10:30 a.m. on the 23rd in the small conference room of the district office, agreeing to join forces as partner organizations for job creation.
The signing ceremony was attended by Yu Seong-hoon, Mayor of Geumcheon-gu, Yang Il-woong, Director of Nambu Technical Training Institute, and nine other officials.
Through this agreement, the two organizations will cooperate in various ways to create jobs in the region, including "promoting vocational training courses" and "prioritizing support for job discovery and employment linkage for local residents."
Mayor Yu Seong-hoon of Geumcheon-gu said, "I expect that this agreement will enable the two organizations to achieve progressive cooperation for job creation," and added, "We will do our best to cooperate so that we can provide practical help to support residents' employment, such as discovering jobs and promoting vocational training."

Meanwhile, Nambu Technical Training Institute, established in 2010, is a Seoul city vocational training academy aimed at nurturing specialized personnel needed in industrial fields. It provides trainees with various free educational programs for employment and entrepreneurship, such as "furniture design," "automobile maintenance," and "barista" courses.
