Support for Export Logistics Costs to Expand Agricultural Product Exports
Support for Export Packaging Costs
Active Promotion of Participation in Export Consultations
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 23rd that it visited farms awarded export towers to present the export towers and encourage the export farms.
The Gyeongnam Province Agricultural Products Export Tower awards ceremony has been held annually under the auspices of Gyeongsangnam-do, but it was not held to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
Accordingly, the county directly visited the awarded farms to deliver the export towers in order to realize on-site administration.
The farms awarded the 25th Gyeongsangnam-do Agricultural Products Export Tower included the $100,000 export tower category winners: Moon Byung-won, Song Swiseop, and Lee Gil-young, chestnut export farms in Daebyeong-myeon.
Despite the difficult conditions due to COVID-19 this year, the county is striving to expand exports through active export policies such as supporting export logistics costs, supporting export packaging costs, and participating in export consultation meetings.

Lee Dong-ryeol, Director of Agricultural Distribution Division, said, “It is a meaningful and joyful news that the export tower was awarded despite the difficult domestic and international environment, including difficulties in exporting to China due to the impact of COVID-19,” and added, “We plan to expand administrative support so that export farms can continue exporting in the future.”
