Bando Cultural Foundation Holds the 2nd 'Bando Family Love Drawing and Photo Contest'
Submission Deadline Until the 31st... Award-Winning Works Gallery Exhibition Also Held
Bando Cultural Foundation, under Bando Construction, announced on the 23rd that it will hold the "2nd Bando Family Love Drawing and Photography Contest."
Sponsored by Bando Construction, this contest was organized to allow citizens to safely enjoy drawing and photography activities amid the COVID-19 situation and to reflect on the meaning of family ahead of Family Month in May. The submission period is until March 31, and anyone residing in Seoul or Gyeonggi Province can participate.
The contest is held in two categories: drawing (general and children’s divisions) and photography. Participants should submit works (scanned or photographed) related to the theme of "family," including the meaning of family, memories, and everyday episodes, along with the application form via email. Detailed contest guidelines can be found on the Bando Cultural Foundation website.
Thirty grand prize winners selected through judging will receive a total prize of 5 million KRW, a certificate from the foundation’s chairman, a collection of winning works, and framed pieces. An exhibition of the winning works will be held from May 1 to 23 at the "Bando Cultural Foundation Ivy Lounge Gallery" located in Dongtan, Hwaseong City.
Choi Dong-min, Secretary General of the Bando Cultural Foundation, said, "Through family-centered cultural and artistic programs, we are conducting various cultural projects that help people reflect on the meaning and value of family, which is easy to forget in busy daily life."
