Teen Male Arrested for Illegally Filming Woman in Leggings with 'Silent Camera'

On the 23rd, the Samsan Police Station in Incheon announced that they have apprehended A (19) on charges of filming using a camera under the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Violence Crimes and are investigating the case.
A is suspected of filming the back of a woman in her 20s, B, wearing leggings with a smartphone camera at a crosswalk in Bupyeong-gu, Incheon, around 4:10 p.m. on the 21st.
At the time, A was found to have used a 'silent camera' application on his smartphone, which does not make a sound when taking pictures, to film B's back several times.
After receiving a report, the police arrived at the scene and took A, who was caught by B's boyfriend, into custody as a suspect caught in the act.

A police official said, "We confirmed photos of B taken on A's smartphone," adding, "We are conducting digital forensics to check for additional offenses."
