Yeonggwang-gun Recruiting Participants for 'Youth Startup Support Project'
[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters reporter Lee Jeonseong] Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim Junsung) announced on the 22nd that it will recruit 8 participants for the ‘Youth Startup Support Project’ by the 9th of next month to support the successful startups of young people.
This project provides startup support funds of 15 million KRW to help young people’s practical startups, with an additional self-payment of 5 million KRW.
The startup support fund covers remodeling costs up to 10 million KRW and rent support of up to 250,000 KRW per month for 2 years. Any excess costs or other business expenses such as machinery and equipment purchases and material costs must be covered by the applicant.
Eligibility requires prospective entrepreneurs aged 18 to 45 who have an address in the county as of the announcement date. The business fields include culture, welfare, social services, and the 6th industry or other commercializable sectors.
The application period is until the 9th of next month, and applications can be submitted by visiting the Population and Job Policy Office at the county office.

An official from the county stated, “This will provide practical help for youth startups and serve as a great foundation for the county’s development through successful job creation,” adding, “We will continue to promote various customized youth policies to create an environment where young people want to live.”
