Gangdong-gu, Training AI Data Labeling Specialists
Recruitment of Trainees for AI Training Data Construction Education from April 5 to 19... Expecting AI Data Industry Development and Job Creation Leading the 4th Industrial Revolution
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gangdong-gu (Mayor Lee Jeong-hoon) is operating an artificial intelligence (AI) data labeling training course to cultivate talent in the AI field in the era of the Digital New Deal.
Data labeling, which is the foundation for applying AI technology, refers to the data preprocessing task of creating training data by attaching labels or annotations to text, voice, image data, etc., so that computers can learn independently.
The district, together with the data platform company AIMMO, will conduct data labeling training four times a year for Gangdong-gu residents.
As long as there is a computer connected to the internet, education and practice are possible, and trainees can participate in actual data labeling projects after completion. Depending on proficiency, some income generation can also be expected.
Applications for the first training session, which will be held on April 26, can be submitted through the Gangdong-gu Office website from April 5 to 19.
The number of recruits is around 30, and the tuition fee is free.
Lee Jeong-hoon, Mayor of Gangdong-gu, stated, "Data labeling is a digital job that anyone can do from home with simple training. It is expected to contribute to job creation for residents such as young people needing short-term side jobs, elderly familiar with computers, and women with career interruptions."
