View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Seo So-jeong] New cluster infection cases are emerging in various daily settings such as workplaces, restaurants, and kindergartens, causing the spread of COVID-19 to continue unabated.
According to the quarantine authorities, Seoul city, and other local governments on the 19th, from midnight to 6 p.m. on the same day, a total of 320 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed nationwide, which is 46 fewer than the same time the previous day.
By region, there were 135 cases in Gyeonggi, 97 in Seoul, 23 in Gyeongnam, 12 in Incheon, 11 in Gyeongbuk, 9 in Gangwon, 8 in Daegu, 7 in Busan, 5 in Chungbuk, 4 in Jeonbuk, 3 each in Daejeon and Ulsan, 2 in Chungnam, and 1 in Gwangju. No confirmed cases have yet been reported in Sejong, Jeonnam, or Jeju.
Since there is still time until midnight when the tally closes, the number of new confirmed cases announced at 0:00 on the 20th is expected to increase beyond this figure.
Recently, the number of new COVID-19 cases has remained in the 400s for three consecutive days without decreasing.
Since the first confirmed case at a pub and restaurant in Jung-gu, Seoul on the 12th, 20 additional cases have been confirmed, bringing the total to 21 positive cases so far.
Following the first confirmed case on the 14th related to a workplace in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, and a church in Yangcheon-gu, 10 additional cases have been confirmed, making the cumulative total 11.
At a plastic manufacturing company in Pyeongtaek Songtan, Gyeonggi, since the first confirmed case on the 16th, 9 additional cases have been confirmed, totaling 10 cases.
At a kindergarten in Yangju, Gyeonggi, since the first confirmed case on the 5th, 10 people have tested positive so far.

In Sokcho-si, Gangwon, since the first confirmed case related to Pilates and Zumba dance on the 16th, 19 additional cases have been confirmed, bringing the cumulative total to 20.
