Hamyang-gun Focuses on Early Voting Promotion for April 7 By-election
Strict Compliance with Quarantine Rules at Polling Stations in 11 Eup and Myeon Areas
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam Province, has launched a campaign to promote early voting ahead of the April 7 by-election.
According to Hamyang-gun on the 19th, voters who are unable to vote on election day, April 7, can cast their early votes at one of the 11 early voting stations located in the towns and townships within the county from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on April 2 and 3.
Voters residing outside the area can vote at early voting stations set up in the towns and neighborhoods of regions holding this by-election, including Seoul and Busan. Early voting locations nationwide can be easily checked on the National Election Commission website.
To vote early, voters must bring a photo ID such as a resident registration card, passport, driver’s license, or disability welfare card, visit the early voting station, present their ID, receive a ballot, and mark their choice.
