Shinhan Bank Signs Business Agreement with National Pension Service and Others for Digital Social Innovation

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sunmi] Shinhan Bank announced on the 19th that it has signed a business agreement with the National Pension Service and Dongguk University to realize social value and create jobs for women and the elderly.
Through this business agreement, Shinhan Bank will support digital social innovation activities and collaborate with each institution to resolve job creation and digital blind spots. Through this agreement, the parties will jointly promote ▲ project planning and new business discovery ▲ operation of digital competency enhancement education programs ▲ employment and start-up consulting and job linkage ▲ joint promotion of publicity and awareness-raising projects ▲ policy research and R&D cooperation.
For concrete implementation, Shinhan Bank’s Retirement Pension Division, the National Pension Service’s first in-house venture Digital Literacy Research Institute, and Dongguk University Startup Center plan to operate a practical consultative body together.

Meanwhile, as the first project related to the business agreement, a digital instructor training program to enhance the digital capabilities of career-interrupted women is scheduled to open in early April and will be conducted for three months both online and offline. A Shinhan Bank official said, “We hope this business agreement will serve as a model case for implementing the government’s Digital New Deal policy and job creation,” adding, “We will continue to take the lead in realizing social value by cooperating with various institutions in diverse ways.”
