SPC GFS Signs Food Supply Agreement with AK S&D
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] SPC Samlip's food distribution specialist subsidiary SPC GFS announced on the 19th that it has signed a food ingredient supply agreement with AK S&D (operator of AK Plaza).
Through this agreement, SPC GFS will supply safe, HACCP-certified food ingredients to cafes, bakeries, and restaurants within AK Plaza through a systematic logistics system. It also plans to participate in service training and hygiene safety system establishment at the respective stores to provide customized services.
An SPC GFS representative stated, “Based on SPC GFS’s extensive know-how in food ingredient distribution, we will reliably supply customized food ingredients,” adding, “We expect synergy effects to be realized through the competitiveness possessed by both companies.”

Meanwhile, SPC GFS supplies desserts to about 12,000 schools through more than 60 FS (group catering) and agencies, including the Seoul Arts Center, based on a systematic logistics system. It also supplies food ingredients to 8,000 business sites by contracting with over 150 franchise headquarters, operating a food distribution business worth approximately 1.6 trillion KRW annually.
