Seoul Design Foundation Hosts 'Spring Garden in D-Sup' Exhibition at DDP Sallimteo

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] The Seoul Design Foundation announced on the 19th that it has opened the exhibition "Spring Garden in D-Sup," signaling the start of a new spring, at 'D-Sup' located on the first floor of the DDP Salimteo from the 16th.
Through this exhibition, the foundation aims to introduce flower design to citizens and provide opportunities for healing and communication through flowers and plants. It plans to inspire design in related industries by presenting a new genre of space decoration using natural and everyday materials. To this end, at DDP’s 'D-Sup,' where nature and design harmonize, the foundation delivers messages of comfort and hope to citizens through floral artworks and supports the stagnant floral industry.

Through the design works of 12 floral expert artists, the exhibition offers citizens a free healing time to experience contemplation and rest in a spring garden. Choi Kyung-ran, CEO of the Seoul Design Foundation, said, “Spring Garden in D-Sup, held in a resting space for citizens, is an exhibition where people can newly encounter floral artworks through design and find solace in their weary daily lives.” She added, “I hope this exhibition will raise awareness of floral design among citizens and become an opportunity for designers and farmers to coexist and prosper together.”
