Gwangju Dong-gu to Recruit 3rd Term District Citizen Auditors Until the 31st
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Im Taek) announced on the 18th that it is recruiting the "3rd Term Resident Auditors" until the 31st of this month.
The Resident Auditors will directly participate in district administration to realize transparent and trustworthy governance by reporting residents' inconveniences, complaints, and irregularities within the district, suggesting improvements for district development, and observing audits conducted by the district.
The term of office for the Resident Auditors is two years starting from the 19th of next month. Eligibility requirements include being registered as a resident (or having a workplace) in Dong-gu, and anyone who is an expert in culture, environment, construction, health, or welfare fields, or who has a strong sense of mission and justice for eradicating corruption, can apply.
