InscoBi Launches Derma Cosmetic on Japan Amazon
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] InscoBi announced on the 18th that its premium anti-aging brand ‘The Dermikos (DERMICOS)’ will be newly launched on the world’s largest shopping platform, ‘Amazon Japan.’ Amazon Japan is one of the four major open market platforms in Japan, along with Rakuten, Qoo10 Japan, and Yahoo Shopping, which are operated by eBay.
InscoBi plans to sequentially launch the bio bee venom cosmetic ‘BEE PLASTY’ following the entry of ‘The Dermikos’ into Amazon.
‘The Dermikos’ is a high-functional dermocosmetic brand whose main ingredient is the growth factor protein FGF7, which uniquely matches 100% with human skin FGF7 DNA worldwide. The growth factor protein FGF7 exists in the dermis layer of the skin and has the effect of increasing collagen, hyaluronic acid, elastin, and other skin components by more than 300%, making it a component used in dermatological science for healing wounds or burns.
Cellumed, InscoBi’s bio subsidiary that developed The Dermikos, has been researching and developing growth factor proteins for over 20 years and acquired proprietary patented manufacturing technology after more than 10 years of long-term research on FGF7. It also obtained patents related to wound healing and succeeded in commercialization by registering it as a cosmetic ingredient with ICID.
A company official explained, “The FGF7 ingredient is difficult to manufacture and has high production costs, making it hard for general cosmetic companies to access,” adding, “Since InscoBi’s bio-affiliated subsidiary Cellumed produces products based on the FGF7 ingredient, it has secured a unique competitive edge in the anti-aging market.”
