Hyundai Card Launches Premium Card 'The Purple Oje' with Enhanced Benefits
New Products in Premium Line The Purple... Enhanced Benefits
Choose from 3 Options to Suit Consumer Needs
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Hyundai Card announced on the 18th that it has launched a new premium card product, 'The Purple Ose'.
As a new addition to Hyundai Card's premium card line 'The Purple,' this product offers stronger reward benefits compared to existing products and introduces a new voucher system to enhance usability, presenting even more powerful perks. Reflecting this meaning, the French word for 'bold,' 'Ose,' was incorporated into the product name.
The card is available in three types: 'M Point Type,' 'Airline Mileage Type (Korean Air Type),' and 'Airline Mileage Type (Asiana Airlines Type).' Customers can choose reward benefits that suit their lifestyle.
The M Point Type accumulates up to 2% in M Points regardless of usage location or accumulation limits. Reflecting the characteristics of The Purple customers who have high card usage, it offers 1% accumulation for spending over 500,000 KRW in the current month, 1.5% for over 1,000,000 KRW, and 2% for over 2,000,000 KRW.
Accumulated M Points can be freely used at 164 brands and over 55,000 affiliated stores, including automobile purchases, fuel, dining, shopping, movie theaters, and travel.
The accumulation benefits of the Airline Mileage Type have also been enhanced. The Korean Air Mileage Type, which previously offered 1 mile per 1,500 KRW spent, has been changed to 1 mile per 1,000 KRW, the same as the Asiana Airlines Mileage Type, significantly increasing the accumulation rate.
A loyalty bonus reflecting the characteristics of premium card customers has been newly added. Customers who spend over 40 million KRW annually on the card can choose one of the benefits: additional reward accumulation (300,000 M Points or 14,000 airline miles) or a 300,000 KRW discount on the annual fee.
The voucher system has also been changed to allow members to use it freely according to their preferences. Previously, vouchers were provided with designated amounts in the travel, hotel, and shopping categories. Now, vouchers worth a total of 600,000 KRW are provided, and members can freely use up to 400,000 KRW per category.
