Hapcheon-gun-Dongcheon Water-Gayasan Spring Water and Bottled Water Support Agreement Signed
Continuous Interest and Support for Student Athletes: Achievements
Moon Jun-hee, Hapcheon County Governor, is signing a business agreement to provide bottled water support for student athletes.
View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam Province, signed a sponsorship agreement with Dongcheon Su Gayasan Spring Water Co., Ltd. on the 17th at the county office to support student athletes in sports teams.
The agreement ceremony was attended by Moon Jun-hee, Mayor of Hapcheon-gun; Park Cheol-ho, CEO of Dongcheon Su Gayasan Spring Water Co., Ltd.; Jung Yong-ho, Manager of Hapcheon Factory; Kim Hae-eun, Chairman of Hapcheon County Sports Council; Kim Ki-jong, Chairman of Hapcheon Sports Club; Han Ho-sang, Director of Sports Facilities; and Jung Heon-tae, Chairman of Yaro-myeon Sports Council.
Through this partnership, in addition to the currently supported Hapcheon Sports Club FC U-12, Daebyeong FC U-15, and Hapcheon Sports Club FC U-18, players of the Yaro Baseball Club will also receive bottled water support from Dongcheon Su Gayasan Spring Water Co., Ltd.
Furthermore, plans are underway to provide free bottled water to athletes participating in sports competitions hosted by the county.
CEO Park stated, “We decided to sponsor to contribute to the nationwide rise of Hapcheon sports and the physical improvement of local youth,” adding, “Hapcheon-gun is striving to become a sports mecca city by attracting various sports competitions and supporting community sports.” He also said, “Our factory operates based on the county’s excellent water quality and clean air, and we will make efforts to give back to society with our profits.”
In response, Mayor Moon said, “As you have greatly contributed to improving the performance of our Hapcheon Sports Club, we will repay you with good results,” and added, “Although it is a difficult time due to COVID-19, I hope this year will be one where we can grow together with our county.”

Meanwhile, the county was selected for the Sports Club public contest project in 2019 and is contributing to nurturing excellent athletes by linking community sports with elite sports, as well as promoting the health and leisure activities of residents.
