Ministry of Foreign Affairs Confirms Korean Descent of Victims in Atlanta Shooting Incident, USA (Comprehensive)
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo In-ho] The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that among the 8 people reported dead by local media in the shooting incident on the 16th (local time) around Atlanta, Georgia, USA, 4 are of Korean descent.
An official from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, "According to the confirmation by the consul of the Consulate General in Atlanta with the local police, it was confirmed that 4 of the deceased are of Korean descent."
However, the official explained that whether these 4 hold Korean nationality is still being further investigated.
Additionally, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is reportedly verifying the identities of the remaining 4 victims who died in this shooting incident.
