[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi) was selected as the best institution in the ‘2020 Second Half Local Finance Rapid Execution Evaluation’ through prompt administrative processing.
Accordingly, the district secured a financial incentive of 80 million won.
This evaluation was comprehensively conducted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety on 243 local governments nationwide, assessing indicators such as achievement of rapid execution targets, quarterly consumption and investment execution performance, job project execution performance, and cooperation between metropolitan and basic local governments.
The district executed 1,029 billion won out of the rapid execution target of 1,155.4 billion won, achieving an execution rate of 89.1%, which is 7.9 percentage points higher than the Ministry of the Interior and Safety’s target rate of 81.2%, marking a great success as the best institution.
In particular, in the fourth quarter consumption and investment sector, the district achieved 130.8% of the target, significantly surpassing the average execution rate of 109.8% of other autonomous districts in Seoul, demonstrating that efforts to increase execution rates in each evaluation area have borne fruit.
