The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) stated, "Morning temperatures will drop sharply compared to the previous day, and except for some coastal areas, most regions will be chilly around 0 degrees Celsius."
According to the KMA, the entire country is expected to be affected by yellow dust on this day.
Due to the influence of high pressure stabilizing the atmosphere, the concentration of yellow dust will gradually weaken but will continue until tomorrow.
Morning low temperatures by region are expected to be △ Seoul 1°C △ Chuncheon -1°C △ Gangneung 5°C △ Daejeon 0°C △ Cheongju 0°C △ Daegu 1°C △ Gwangju 1°C △ Jeonju 1°C △ Busan 5°C △ Jeju 5°C.
Daytime high temperatures are forecasted as △ Seoul 16°C △ Chuncheon 18°C △ Gangneung 14°C △ Daejeon 17°C △ Cheongju 16°C △ Daegu 18°C △ Gwangju 19°C △ Jeonju 17°C △ Busan 16°C △ Jeju 14°C.
Fine dust levels on this day will be 'Bad' in the Seoul metropolitan area, Chungcheong region, Gwangju, and Jeonbuk, while other regions will have 'Moderate' levels.

The KMA advised, "Yellow dust originating from the Inner Mongolian Plateau and the Gobi Desert in China is widely observed around Korea, and many areas are expected to experience yellow dust until the 18th. We urge the elderly and those with respiratory diseases to refrain from going outside and to take special care of their health."
