Samsung Securities, Up to $100 Support Event for Overseas Stocks
[Asia Economy Reporter Ji-hwan Park] Samsung Securities announced on the 15th that it will hold an event supporting up to $100 for customers who have never traded overseas stocks until the 31st.
This event targets new customers or those who have not traded overseas stocks from January 1, 2015, to February 28, 2021. An investment support fund of $20 will be provided, and then a trading congratulatory bonus (up to $80) will be given step-by-step according to the amount of online overseas stock trading.
The investment support fund will be deposited immediately into the application account upon event participation application. The deposited $20 can be used to purchase U.S. stocks within 5 business days from the deposit date. Investment support funds not used to purchase U.S. stocks will be automatically withdrawn after 6 business days.
Afterwards, the trading congratulatory bonus can be received up to $80 by meeting all step-by-step criteria through online overseas stock trading of a certain amount or more by April 30, 2021.

When trading overseas stocks online for more than 1 million KRW, $20 is given; for more than 5 million KRW, an additional $30 is added for a total of $50; and for more than 10 million KRW, an additional $30 is added for a total of $80, which can be received in May.
