[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jumi] Go Min-jung, a Democratic Party lawmaker and spokesperson for Park Young-sun, the Democratic Party candidate for Seoul mayor, targeted Oh Se-hoon, the People Power Party candidate for Seoul mayor, and Park Hyung-joon, the candidate for Busan mayor, saying, "It feels like MB (Lee Myung-bak) is returning."
On the 15th, in an interview with YTN Radio's 'Hwang Bo-seon's Start of a New Morning,' Go said, "During Mayor Oh Se-hoon's term, I witnessed horrific scenes such as the Yongsan tragedy. Moreover, the construction to repair and improve Yanghwa Bridge was carried out despite ignoring the city council's opinions, which later forced Mayor Park Won-soon to pay billions in compensation," criticizing them.
She continued, "In Seoul, Oh Se-hoon was selected as the candidate, and in Busan, Park Hyung-joon was chosen. Seeing these two, I thought, 'In the end, MB is returning again,'" she criticized.
Go also said, "Looking at the excessive political attacks from the opposition party recently regarding President Moon Jae-in's Yangsan residence, I cannot help but recall the time when former President Roh's residence was called a 'palace' and was relentlessly targeted," emphasizing, "There is a strong urgency not to repeat the lost 10 years."

Go also raised her voice criticizing the opposition party's 'vulgar politics.'
She said, "There seems to be a line that must be respected during elections. When that line is occasionally crossed, it turns into a mudslinging fight," and claimed, "In fact, the People Power Party received criticism for vulgar politics during the April 15 general election."
She added, "Nevertheless, former People Power Party Supreme Council member Lee Jun-seok called me 'Pavlov's dog,' and lawmaker Yoon Hee-sook said she was 'worried about my mental and physical state.' While criticizing and condemning my policies is understandable due to different political camps, the flood of such personal attacks is something our entire political sphere must avoid," she sharply criticized.
Earlier, on the 10th, former Supreme Council member Lee wrote on Facebook, "When Oh Se-hoon said he would lift regulations on reconstruction and redevelopment, Go Min-jung, who is said to be the spokesperson for Park Young-sun's camp, said something strange again," adding, "If you are a spokesperson, don't reflexively come out to attack Oh Se-hoon like Pavlov's dog; first, look at your candidate's pledges."
