Hyundai Steel Unveils Eco-Friendly 'Motion Graphic'
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] Hyundai Steel announced on the 15th that it has produced a video series tailored to the general public’s level of understanding to make its efforts and vision for an eco-friendly steel mill easily accessible to everyone.
The series of videos will be released sequentially on topics such as ▲the world’s first eco-friendly blast furnace safety valve ▲Hyundai Steel’s vision for a hydrogen society ▲steel recycling.
In particular, the videos apply the 'motion graphics' technique, a video production method that creates various movements using animation technology, making steel technology concepts that might otherwise seem difficult easy for the general public to understand.
The first video to be released, titled 'Blast Furnace Safety Valve,' covers the development process of a blast furnace harmful gas source-blocking technology designed to ensure safety while reducing air pollution. Subsequent videos will be released in order during the first half of this year.
The videos were released through Hyundai Steel’s SNS channels (YouTube, Instagram) and webzine (Soeburi Talk). At the end of the released videos, the slogan “Hyundai Steel is Eco-friendly Steel” is presented, encapsulating Hyundai Steel’s efforts toward ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management.
