Practical Training for Employees at Nationwide Branches
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] NH Nonghyup Card announced on the 15th that it conducted video training from the 10th to the 12th for employees at nationwide branches in preparation for the enforcement of the Financial Consumer Protection Act.
The training was conducted for about 2,000 employees each from banks and agricultural cooperatives, aiming to have employees thoroughly understand the overall contents related to the Financial Consumer Protection Act in advance to take the lead in protecting customers' rights and interests.
The training was practically focused, consisting of 'Introduction to the Financial Consumer Protection Act,' 'Key Contents of the Card Sector,' and 'Sales Procedures for Each Card Product.' In particular, the introduction to the Financial Consumer Protection Act covered the six major sales regulations (principle of suitability, principle of appropriateness, duty to explain, prohibition of unfair business practices, prohibition of improper solicitation, prohibition of false or exaggerated advertising), financial product sales principles, consumer relief systems, and strengthened sanctions on financial companies.
Additionally, a video replay function for the training was provided, and through guidance on the card sector work manual related to the Financial Consumer Protection Act, employees are being organized to thoroughly understand the Act and comply with sales principles.
Earlier, NH Nonghyup Card formed a TF team to respond to the Financial Consumer Protection Act starting in January to strengthen consumer protection procedures and has been preparing company-wide countermeasures. Related internal regulations and work processes are being systematically improved, and continuous training and issue inspections will be conducted to ensure stable institutional establishment.
