High Pathogenicity AI Confirmed at Farm in Chungju
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] A highly pathogenic avian influenza (AI) case has been confirmed at a laying hen farm in Chungju, Chungbuk.
The Central Avian Influenza Countermeasures Headquarters (CAC) announced on the 13th that after conducting a detailed inspection of the farm where the H5 type AI antigen was detected, it was confirmed to be the highly pathogenic H5N8 strain.
With this, the total number of highly pathogenic AI cases reported at domestic poultry farms and experience farms has reached 106.
