[Photo] 155 Dongdaemun-gu Employees Participate in Blood Donation of Love
On the 12th, Staff Group Blood Donation to Overcome Blood Supply Shortage at District Office Multipurpose Auditorium
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Dongdaemun-gu (Mayor Yoo Deok-yeol) conducted the "2021 Staff Group Blood Donation" at the multipurpose auditorium on the 2nd floor of the district office, hosted by the Korean Red Cross Eastern Blood Center.
The event, held from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM, saw a total of 155 voluntary participants, including ▲district office, neighborhood service center, and public corporation employees ▲social service agents, who actively practiced the sharing of life.
At 10:00 AM, Mayor Yoo Deok-yeol of Dongdaemun-gu also visited the site to encourage the staff participating in the group blood donation.
Employees who participated in the blood donation received benefits including 12 types of health checkups such as blood type testing and hepatitis screening, along with the issuance of a blood donation certificate and a small commemorative gift.
The district office granted regular learning hours and official leave on the day to encourage active participation of employees in this blood donation event.
