Although the cat's body was not found at the scene, blood was found on the door of a parked car, and clumps of cat fur were scattered in various places.
The police are analyzing the parking lot's closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage to determine the exact circumstances of the incident, while the security guard who first discovered the scene is conducting an autopsy on the cat's body, which was buried nearby, to investigate the cause of death.
