Dongshin University Career Center Holds 'DS Star Program Participant Meeting'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] Dongshin University Career Development Center recently held a 'DS Star Program Participant Meeting' in the seminar room on the 2nd floor of the Information and Computer Center, the center announced on the 12th.
At this meeting, the purpose and objectives of the program, scholarship benefits, and how to write a study plan were explained to the nine current students participating in this year's program.
'DS Star' is Dongshin University's representative career academy program established to cultivate outstanding talents and improve the qualitative and quantitative levels of employment, along with the 'Daejeong Program.'
Students aiming for employment at public institutions in the Innovation City, 5th and 7th grade public officials, and large corporations are selected and operated annually.
Participating students are evaluated based on TOEIC scores, departmental rankings, and achievement of study goals, and receive scholarships of up to 4 million KRW per year. They are also supported with 1 million KRW annually for tuition fees for academies or online courses, exclusive reading rooms, and various mock exams.
