Gwangju Office of Education Holds Ceremony for Gwangju Education Love Card Points Delivery
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] The Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education announced on the 12th that it held a presentation ceremony for the Gwangju Education Love Card savings at the Superintendent's office.
At the ceremony, Kang Hyung-gu, head of the NH Nonghyup Bank Gwangju Regional Headquarters, handed over savings of 382.87 million KRW generated from the use of the Gwangju Education Love Card to the city education office.
The savings amount was accumulated at a certain rate from the corporate card usage amounts by the city education office, educational administrative institutions, and schools at all levels over the past year, as well as from the card usage amounts voluntarily participated in by faculty and staff.
The "Gwangju Education Love Card" was created in 2004 through a partnership between the city education office and NH Nonghyup Bank Gwangju Regional Headquarters, and the total amount of savings including this recent amount is 3.68248 billion KRW.

Jung Yeon-gu, head of the Finance and Welfare Division of the city education office, said, "The savings received this time will be recorded as revenue in the special education expense account and used for projects to enhance student welfare."
