View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] The National Credit Union Federation of Korea (NACUFOK) announced on the 11th that Nguyen Vu Tung, the Ambassador of Vietnam to Korea, visited the federation's headquarters.
Appointed as the Ambassador of Vietnam to Korea in August last year, Ambassador Nguyen Vu Tung visited the federation to discuss exchange and cooperation with cooperative organizations representing both countries. Park Cha-hoon, Chairman of NACUFOK, listened to the ambassador's opinions and discussed future exchange plans with the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance (VCA).
The Vietnam Cooperative Alliance is the highest cooperative organization in Vietnam that protects the rights and interests of cooperative members and implements various projects for the development of cooperatives. Last year, NACUFOK established a partnership with the alliance and signed a memorandum of understanding focusing on human resource development.

Chairman Park Cha-hoon stated, “Vietnam is Korea’s fourth largest trading partner and a cooperative partner,” adding, “We hope that through expanding exchanges in the cooperative sector between the two countries, we can mutually develop and grow.”
