Moon Jun-hee, Hapcheon County Governor, Joins Fire Safety 119 Relay Challenge
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Moon Jun-hee, the mayor of Hapcheon County, participated on the 10th in the "Fire Safety 119 Relay Challenge," which encourages "one (1) fire extinguisher and one (1) detector per household and vehicle (9)."
This 119 relay challenge is a campaign launched last year on the occasion of the 58th Firefighting Day, aimed at promoting the installation of fire extinguishers and detectors to protect precious lives and property from fire.
Mayor Moon, who joined the challenge upon the nomination of Gu In-mo, the mayor of Geochang County, said, "Small actions like equipping fire extinguishers and detectors can prevent major damage, so I hope many residents will participate."
He nominated Park Jin-sik, president of the Saemaeul Movement Hapcheon County Branch; Lee Tae-ryeon, president of the Barugesalgi Movement Hapcheon County Council; and Cha Ki-woon, president of the Korea Freedom Federation Hapcheon County Branch, as the next participants.
