Miryang City Supports Youth Job-Seeking Activity Allowance... Up to 2 Million KRW for 54 People
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Miryang City, Gyeongnam Province announced on the 11th that it will recruit participants for the '2021 Youth Job-Seeking Activity Allowance Support Project' (Dream Card Project) from the 17th to the 31st.
The Dream Card Project is a program that supports expenses so that young people who are struggling due to the economic downturn caused by COVID-19, employment decline, and prolonged job preparation period can focus on their job-seeking activities.
The support fund can be used for education expenses for job-seeking activities, book purchases, exam fees, interview preparation costs, as well as expenses necessary for social entry activities (transportation, meals).
The city will support a total of 54 people with 500,000 KRW per month for up to 4 months, totaling a maximum of 2 million KRW. Starting this year, an additional employment success allowance of 500,000 KRW will be provided if the participant is employed or starts a business and maintains employment for 3 months.
The eligible applicants are unemployed job-seeking youth aged 18 to 34 who are registered residents of Miryang City, have graduated, dropped out, or completed their final education, and whose household income is below 150% of the median income.
Applicants can apply through the Dream Card website. Selection of candidates will be comprehensively reviewed based on household income, graduation date, and other factors. For more detailed information, inquiries can be made to the Gyeongnam Province Dream Card project team.
