Creation of 'Safe Clean Air Zones' in Multi-use Facilities Including Seoul Gangseo-gu Office
Installation of Smart Air Showers, Air Sterilizers (Air Vaccine), Window-type Air Purifiers... Expected Sterilization and Purification Effects Against Fine Dust and Viruses
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Various multi-use facilities, including the Gangseo-gu Office in Seoul (Mayor Noh Hyun-song), have been transformed into clean air zones.
The district announced on the 9th that it has completed the creation of ‘Safe Clean Air Zones’ that maintain clean air quality using sterilization and purification devices.
This measure aims to protect residents' health and reduce anxiety caused by harmful environments such as viruses and fine dust.
First, the district installed the ‘IoT Smart Air Shower’ system at six multi-use facilities (▲Gangseo-gu Office ▲Gangseo-gu Office Annex ▲Gangseo-gu Childcare Support Center ▲Gangseo-gu Youth Center ▲Gippeunuri Welfare Center ▲Gangseo Health Center).
The ‘IoT Smart Air Shower’ is a doorway-shaped device that uses Internet of Things technology to improve indoor air quality in real time.
Installed at entrances, it blows air when people pass through to remove external harmful substances, and features eco-friendly LED sterilizers and phytoncide gel to sterilize fine dust and viruses.
Additionally, with smart sensor functions, the device itself acts as a large air purifier, and four monitors attached to the left and right sides display related information such as fine dust concentration and indoor temperature.
Air sterilizers (Air Vaccines) were installed at four public facilities (▲Banghwa Health Branch ▲Gangseo-gu Childcare Support Center ▲Gangseo-gu Youth Center ▲Gangseo-gu Office Annex).
The Air Vaccine generates substances with strong sterilization, disinfection, and deodorizing power, quickly decomposing and removing pollutants in the air. It is safe for humans and animals and has excellent pollutant sterilization capabilities, making it effective for purifying large spaces.
Three daycare centers (▲Gangseo-gu Public Workplace Daycare ▲Francisco Daycare ▲Gangseo-gu Office Daycare) were equipped with ventilation-type air purifiers attached to windows.
These air purifiers expel polluted indoor air and remove harmful substances from outdoor air through a five-stage filter, continuously managing air quality to prevent increases in indoor fine dust and carbon dioxide levels.
