LG Electronics Celebrates 55th Anniversary of TV Business with OLED TV Purchase Benefits
Up to KRW 2 Million Worth Offered to LG Signature OLED 8K Buyers Until End of Next Month
Additional Benefits When Purchasing 77-inch LG OLED TV Along with 55-inch or 48-inch Model

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] LG Electronics announced on the 10th that it will hold a special event offering benefits to customers who purchase OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) TVs in celebration of the 55th anniversary of its TV business.
First, customers who purchase the world's first 8K OLED TV, the 'LG Signature OLED 8K,' at nationwide offline stores including LG Electronics Best Shops by the end of next month will receive purchase benefits worth up to 2 million KRW.
Additionally, customers who purchase the G series with its distinctive wall-hugging design, the C series which won Best TV at the world's largest IT and home appliance exhibition (CES), or the B series with reasonable specifications will receive benefits worth up to 300,000 KRW depending on the model. Customers who purchase a 77-inch LG OLED TV and simultaneously purchase a 55-inch or 48-inch model will also receive an additional benefit worth 100,000 KRW.
This event was organized to commemorate LG Electronics' 55 years since entering the TV business this year. Previously, LG Electronics enhanced the competitiveness of the Korean TV industry by producing the first domestically released black-and-white TV in 1966, as well as color TVs (1977), PDP and LCD TVs (1999), and OLED TVs (2013).
