Pyojun Association Participates as a Consortium Member of Plan H Ventures, a TIPS Operating Company
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Standards Association announced on the 10th that it will participate as a consortium member of Plan H Ventures, the operator of the TIPS program (TIPS: Tech Incubator Program for Startups, a private investment-led technology startup support program). TIPS is a program introduced by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and hosted by the Korea Angel Investment Association, which selects startup teams with technology items leading the global market through private operators and nurtures them intensively.
Plan H Ventures, the existing TIPS operator, has added the Standards Association as a consortium member and agreed to cooperate in discovering and nurturing promising startups through open innovation in fields such as smart cities, smart living, and urban regeneration projects. Plan H Ventures, established by Hoban Group as the first accelerator in the construction industry to lead industrial innovation, operates its own incubation space of 1,000 pyeong and is conducting full-cycle accelerating that connects investment, R&D funding, and market development.

The Korea Standards Association was registered as an accelerator institution by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups in July last year and provides comprehensive incubation services such as discovering early-stage startups, angel investment, providing business spaces, and mentoring. Jeon Jin-su, Executive Director of the Korea Standards Association, said, "Since registering as an accelerator last year, we have focused on discovering and nurturing future unicorn startups while conducting projects specialized in preliminary startup packages and non-face-to-face fields," adding, "In the future, through consortium cooperation with Plan H Ventures and TIPS operators, we will not only discover and nurture startups but also transform existing industries and support new business growth as an accelerator institution."
