Live Healing Concert Hosted by Psychiatrist Seongjun Cho on the 10th... Open to All on YouTube Channel ‘Yeongdeungpo Mental Health Welfare Center’
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Yeongdeungpo-gu (Mayor Chae Hyun-il) Public Health Center is conducting the ‘Mental Health Talk-Talk (TALK-TALK) Concert’ for local residents who are experiencing mental health difficulties such as anxiety, depression, and lethargy due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
The ‘Mental Health Talk-Talk Concert’ is a healing program designed to soothe the minds of residents exhausted by COVID-19 by providing a channel for real-time communication with a psychiatrist and offering accurate information about mental health.
On March 10th from 2 PM to 3 PM, psychiatrist Cho Seong-jun (Kangbuk Samsung Hospital) will hold a session titled ‘Why Am I the Only One Struggling? Reasons Why Your Mind Is Troubled,’ comforting local residents suffering from anger, anxiety, and stress, and sharing coping strategies to overcome these difficulties.
Starting this March, the ‘Mental Health Talk-Talk Concert’ will be broadcast a total of four times on the YouTube channel. It will be held once each quarter with beneficial topics applicable to daily life, including ▲ Mindfulness Preparing for Old Age in June ▲ Mental Care Parents Should Know in September ▲ Mindset for a Happy Family in November, providing mental health lectures.
Anyone can apply and participate, and residents wishing to join can apply through the Yeongdeungpo-gu Health Promotion Division.
Meanwhile, since September last year, the district has been conducting non-face-to-face mental health education using YouTube to allow local residents to safely and comfortably receive mental health education anytime and anywhere.
By searching for ‘Yeongdeungpo-gu Mental Health Welfare Center’ on YouTube, viewers can freely watch a variety of mental health-related content such as the online Mental Health Academy and mental care videos for COVID-19 psychological quarantine. Anyone feeling mentally distressed or in need of help can contact the district’s Mental Health Welfare Center.
