85 ASF Cases Reported... Concentrated Occurrence Mainly in Seomyeon
[Asia Economy Reporter La Young-cheol] This year, with the highest number of African Swine Fever (ASF) outbreaks occurring in Chuncheon nationwide, Chuncheon City is strengthening quarantine measures for pig farms and others.
According to Chuncheon City on the 9th, the number of ASF cases in Chuncheon this year is 26 in January, 52 in February, and 7 in March, totaling 85 cases.
The city is focusing on disinfecting the 19 km road from Owalli to Deokduwon-ri and surrounding idle lands, especially in Seomyeon where ASF outbreaks are concentrated, by mobilizing military decontamination vehicles.
