Yeonggwang-gun Recruiting Trainees for 'Basic Farming Technology' Education for Return-to-Farm and Return-to-Village Residents
[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jeonseong] Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim Junsung) announced on the 9th that it is recruiting 40 trainees for basic farming technology education until the 19th to provide systematic farming technology support for return-to-farm and return-to-village individuals.
This education program is held twice a year at the Agricultural Technology Center to provide return-to-farm and return-to-village individuals with systematic basic farming technology education and agricultural information to help them successfully settle in agriculture and rural areas.
The first half of this year's education will be held from the 30th to June 1st, with sessions once a week every Tuesday for 4 hours each, totaling 10 sessions and 40 hours.
The curriculum includes basic farming topics such as understanding rural areas and successful return-to-farm planning, soil management, and the use of microorganisms, as well as crop-specific cultivation techniques reflecting the demands of farmers for strawberries, peppers, Hanwoo cattle, and on-site education where participants can learn the know-how of successful return-to-farm individuals in the region.
Any return-to-farm or return-to-village residents and new farmers living in the county are eligible to apply.
Applicants can download the application form from the Yeonggwang-gun and Agricultural Technology Center websites and submit it in person at the Agricultural Technology Center.
