Gwangju Buk-gu Announces Small Library Revitalization Support Project Contest Until the 23rd
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Moon In) announced on the 9th that it will promote a public contest for the Small Library Revitalization Support Project.
Small libraries are small-scale libraries where any resident can easily receive cultural services and have established themselves as cultural spaces for exchanging various information in daily life.
Buk-gu plans to select around 28 locations and support project expenses such as book purchase costs, program operation costs, and volunteer expenses for library operation, ranging from 2 million KRW to a maximum of 10 million KRW per location.
Applicants must be private small libraries registered in Buk-gu as of the announcement date and can apply in one of four categories: ▲Community-based ▲Hub-type ▲Specialized ▲General.
Applications can be submitted to Unam Library by the 23rd, referring to the Buk-gu Integrated Library website for related documents.
Since this project requires a 10% self-payment, institutions without their own library budget, those that do not meet registration and operation standards, or those that have not participated in the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism's operational survey are excluded from support.
