Emart-LG Electronics Donate Laptops to Underprivileged Children with Customers
Earn 20,000 KRW Points or Donate per Unit Purchased of Event Products
[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] Emart and LG Electronics announced on the 9th that they will carry out the 'Good Consumption Project' from the 11th of this month to the 30th of next month, donating laptops to vulnerable children who are in the blind spots of non-face-to-face online education.
During this period, when customers purchase LG Electronics' donation event products at Emart and Electromart electronics stores, 20,000 KRW per product will be accumulated as a contribution fund. The event models include six items: '109 cm OLED TV', 'Objet Refrigerator', 'Objet Wash Tower', 'Objet Styler', 'Objet Dishwasher', and 'Objet Air Conditioner'.
The two companies plan to donate LG Electronics laptops equivalent to the amount of the raised funds to about 40 child care facilities nationwide through the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation on Children's Day, May 5.
