SNT Scholarship Foundation Donates 528 Million Won in Scholarships
35 Billion KRW Supported to Over 460 People Over 8 Years
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kang Sharon] The SNT Scholarship Foundation announced on the 8th that it has awarded scholarships totaling 528 million KRW to science and engineering university students.
Each student received 8 million KRW, supporting a total of 66 students.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and participation in social distancing, the scholarship certificate awarding ceremony was canceled, and only the scholarships were distributed.
The SNT Group, led by Chairman Choi Pyeong-gyu and its affiliates, contributed 30 billion KRW to establish the scholarship foundation supporting science and engineering students in 2013.
Including this year's disbursement, the foundation has supported approximately 460 students with a total of 3.5 billion KRW.
