"Already? ... Will Galaxy Watch4 Launch in Q2?"
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] About half a year after Samsung Electronics unveiled the ‘Galaxy Watch3,’ rumors about the release of its successor have emerged.
On the 7th (local time), IT media SamMobile reported, citing famous IT tipster Ice Universe, that the ‘Galaxy Watch4’ could be released in the second quarter.
According to Ice Universe, Samsung Electronics is expected to launch the Galaxy Watch4 series in the second quarter, earlier than the usual release period in the third quarter. The Galaxy Watch4 series will be released in two types: Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Watch Active. To unify the series numbering, the Galaxy Watch Active model is expected to skip Active3 and be released as the ‘Galaxy Watch Active4.’
Furthermore, Ice Universe predicted that the next-generation Galaxy Watch will be released in two sizes (model numbers SM-R86x and SM-R87x) and will support non-invasive blood glucose measurement that does not require pricking the fingertip. However, the skin temperature monitoring function is presumed to be excluded.
