Gimhae-si Launches Application for Small Business Owners at Volume-Based Waste Bag Sales Locations

View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Gimhae City in Gyeongnam announced on the 2nd that it will operate a dedicated smartphone app for selling volume-based waste bags.
The volume-based waste bag smartphone app order system has been promoted since last year to enhance the convenience of over 1,070 small business owners registered as volume-based waste bag sellers in the area. After a pilot operation until February, it will be officially operated from the 5th.
Until now, sellers have ordered volume-based waste bags via phone or internet, but errors such as payment mistakes frequently occurred during the process, leading to delivery omissions and incorrect deliveries, causing inconvenience to both users and responsible officials.
With the introduction of this volume-based waste bag smartphone app, orders can be placed 24/7, and order details and delivery dates can be checked in real time, with the ability to modify orders as well.
Additionally, the existing phone orders and bank transfer methods have been abolished, and a virtual account payment method has been introduced to fundamentally prevent payment errors (overpayment or underpayment) and enable accurate delivery.
The volume-based waste bag order app can be installed by searching for ‘Gimhae City Volume-based Waste Bag’ on the Google Play Store for smartphones. (For iPhone users, access the Gimhae City Hall website to install.)
After entering the ID (seller code, 5 digits) and password (last 4 digits of the business phone number) to access the app, users input and save the types and quantities of volume-based waste bags, sacks, and payment certificates, then complete the order by depositing payment into the virtual account assigned to each seller.
