[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) announced on the 2nd that it will provide scholarships to adult learners who are studying diligently at a late age to help them focus on their studies.
The county will provide scholarships of 540,000 KRW per person to residents who are enrolled in or entering secondary education institutions recognized within the province this year, and it is expected that a total of about 40 people will receive scholarships this year.
Those who wish to apply for the scholarship can visit the Autonomous Administration Division Lifelong Education Team or apply by mail by the 22nd.
Governor Kim San said, "Do not hesitate or give up halfway just because you missed the timing; challenge yourself to obtain academic qualifications," and added, "We will consider various support measures so that residents can enjoy broader learning opportunities."
