Gwangju Dong-gu, Promotion of Maintenance Project for Duam 2nd Neighborhood Park
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Im Taek) announced on the 2nd that it will actively promote the maintenance project of Duam 2 Neighborhood Park in Sansu-dong.
Duam 2 Neighborhood Park, located in Sansu-dong, covers a total area of 1,000㎡ and was completed during the Duam 2 Residential Development Project over 30 years ago.
Therefore, the park facilities have become old and the design is outdated, causing inconvenience in use and concerns about safety accidents, leading to continuous demands for overall facility improvements in the park.
Accordingly, Dong-gu plans to invest 200 million KRW in the project to replace aging facilities, replenish trees and flowers, and create a safe green resting place where flowers bloom all year round.
In particular, this project will actively reflect various opinions from nearby residents throughout the entire process from design and construction to the project itself, including ▲maintenance of walking paths within the park ▲replenishment of trees and flowers ▲maintenance of drainage facilities, which residents have continuously requested, to increase satisfaction.
Dong-gu plans to complete the detailed design service by March by holding residents' briefings and reflecting local residents' opinions, and aims to complete the construction within the first half of the year.
