Daejeon City Opens 'Expo Underpass' Connecting National Science Museum and Expo Science Park

View original image[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Daejeon City has opened the Expo Underpass. According to the city on the 1st, this underpass, which connects the National Science Museum and Expo Science Park, was opened yesterday afternoon.
The city expects that with the opening of the Expo Underpass, visiting vehicles using the two science parks will be able to enter through the underpass, which will partially alleviate traffic congestion around Daedeok-daero.
The opened section is the underpass area within Expo Science Park, and the city plans to additionally open some roads leading to the Science Complex in August, coinciding with the completion of the Science Complex.

Meanwhile, the Expo Underpass was started in December 2013 as part of the Expo Re-creation Project to facilitate movement between the National Science Museum and Expo Science Park.
