Hapcheon-gun Conducts Non-Face-to-Face Job Experience Program
Distribution of Chef and Horticultural Therapist Kits as Part of Career and Job Programs
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The Youth Counseling and Welfare Center in Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 25th that it will hold a non-face-to-face job experience event for youths who find it difficult to participate in outdoor experiential activities due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
This job experience program was conducted based on a job experience demand survey, focusing on the two occupations most frequently requested by youths: chef and horticultural therapist.
Applications were accepted for 25 participants each for the chef and horticultural therapist experiences, and early closure of applications confirmed the strong interest and desire for experiential activities among local youths.
Until now, job experience programs were conducted through special lectures or face-to-face programs, but due to COVID-19, they have been held in a non-face-to-face experiential format. The center plans to proceed with various methods in line with future changes.
