The Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA) explained in a reference document on the 25th, "We are placing great importance on the first day of COVID-19 vaccination and are making thorough preparations for the implementation of the vaccination."

The KDCA announced, "On the 26th at 9 a.m., the first vaccinations will begin simultaneously nationwide for inpatients and residents under 65 years old, as well as staff at nursing hospitals and nursing facilities, making all of them the first recipients."
