According to Mokpo City, the vaccine will be delivered to one nursing hospital and the Mokpo City Health Center on the 25th, and to eight nursing hospitals on the 26th. Once delivery is complete, the nursing hospitals plan to start vaccinations on the 26th for a total of 1,200 people under 65 years old who have consented to vaccination among staff and inpatients, according to their own vaccination schedules.
From the 2nd of next month, the city plans to vaccinate 430 people at 20 nursing facilities at Hadang Health Branch (360 people), and will provide on-site vaccinations for 70 bedridden residents who have difficulty moving.
In particular, to respond to adverse reactions or emergencies, the city plans to have 119 ambulances on standby in cooperation with the Mokpo Fire Station during vaccinations.

A city official stated, “The Vaccination Implementation Task Force is focusing on all aspects of safe and efficient COVID-19 vaccination, from vaccine transportation and storage to managing recipients, administering vaccinations, and responding to adverse reactions,” adding, “We will promptly inform citizens once government guidelines for the second quarter vaccination targets are issued.”
