[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] The Shinhan Social Contribution Foundation announced on the 25th that it has awarded scholarships totaling 110 million won to 136 university students nationwide.
The scholarship recipients were selected from recommendations by 55 Shinhan cooperatives across the country and are university students who continue to pursue their studies with passion despite difficult circumstances.
Unlike last year, when scholarships were awarded mainly to university students affiliated with workplace Shinhan cooperatives, the Shinhan Central Association explained that this year the scope of scholarship beneficiaries was expanded to include general university students.
