'The Era of One-Person Media'... Yongsan-gu Fosters 'One-Person Creators'

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Yongsan-gu (District Mayor Seongjang Hyun) is operating a 'Professional Course to Become a One-Person Creator' that provides specialized training in online content production and utilization skills in line with the era of one-person media.
This is to offer residents interested in video production and video platforms an opportunity to acquire professional skills and enhance their capabilities.
The training will be held five times (once a week) from March 29 to April 26, with classes every Monday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. during the period.
The training location is an online learning space (ZOOM). To prevent the spread of COVID-19, the sessions will be conducted via real-time video lectures.
The curriculum consists of ▲Video Content Production Theory ▲Content Production Practice ▲Content Editing Practice ▲My Broadcast Station Made with YouTube, among others.
The training is targeted at Yongsan-gu residents interested in one-person media. Those who wish to participate can apply through the district's comprehensive education portal. Applications are accepted from 9 a.m. on March 2 to 6 p.m. on March 16. The tuition fee is 10,000 KRW, and the class size is limited to 30 people.
The online training courses will be conducted privately. Detailed information on how to apply and attend the lectures can be found on the district's comprehensive education portal.
Last year, the district also conducted a one-person creator expert training course, producing 33 graduates. Notably, a diverse age range from their 30s to 60s actively participated in the classes, stepping up as one-person media content creators.
